Anna Shakeeva was named one of the superb DC area artists by The Washington Post. Anna is well-known not just in the US but around the world as well. She was raised in Russia and was mostly influenced by the Russian art culture. Anna learned from the best while developing her own original style. Over the past twelve years Anna  has been working with oil-based paint, creating a unique layering effect in her monotype prints. She also works in dry-point. Anna'a prints are rich in details so fine that they appear almost as small pieces of jewelry.
